i think i almost forgot about it. sorta. wait, not really.
i've begun counting the minutes. seconds even.
my diet has paid off.
i've lost a good 7 pounds just by logging and measuring my food in take
and working out when i can.
got my hair did... red.
found a couple cute spring blouses (you know how i feel about butterflies?)
a new book to read.
road trip playlist is set to go.
i just have to pack.. and maybe do a couple loads of laundry. oops.
i can't believe it, it's going to be two days of some serious decompression
think "ahhhhhhh..."
i'm trading my mini-van for Adam's sport camery
i'll get to feel cool on the road again. ;)
it's going to be pretty awesome.

i literally just yelled that.
and now my kids are looking at me funny.
but no,
this friend i'm going with -
she booked it all,
took care of everything.
in fact, i wanted to cancel.
after i invited a big group of girlfriends (many who couldn't come)
i thought 'forget it. we'll do something else.'
but she didn't take "forget it" for an answer
she knew we needed this.
to revive our friendships
to come back refreshed
restored
and ready to take on anything.
what a good friend.
pray for our journeys if you think of it.
